Walking
Guests are free to follow the variety of footpaths and bridleways across the farmland to the downs, from which there are panoramic views across the Isle of Wight. The renowned Stenbury and Worsley trails are directly accessible from the farm. Invigorating walks in open countryside or along the many coastal trails is a favourite pastime for many of our visitors, as are the excellent bird-watching opportunities. In the spring, the woods are carpeted in bluebells and newborn lambs and calves ramble in the pastures. In the summer, the surrounding area is bustling with activities and in the autumn; after harvest, the whole countryside changes colour making it a delightful time to visit.

Cycling
The Isle of Wight has an excellent network of bridleways and has become a well-known mountain biking destination. Studying the routes will ensure you can spend a majority of your time 'off road'. Road cycling is also popular around the quiet back roads of the island. www.sunseaandcycling.com

Fishing
The farm has ponds that are stocked with Carp, Roach and Tench. Fishing is available for guests only.

Riding
If you wish to bring your own horse/pony with you we have paddocks to graze (£10 per horse per night). It may be possible to offer stabling - please enquire for details.

Direct access to bridleways is a feature of the farm.

Golf

Top ten things to do on the Isle of Wight

For some culture – visit Osborne House, the former royal residence, in East Cowes where you can take a carriage drive, explore the grounds, lunch in the Terrace Restaurant and of course tour the house.
Brading Roman villa is also well worth a visit. The mosaic floors have been recently covered by a state of the art building.
The neighbouring Appluldurcombe Owl & Falconry Centre hosts flying displays and you can also visit the shell of a grand country house. See website for special events.
Take a hike from the farm up to the Worsley monument from where you will have excellent views of most of the island and glimpses of the south coast.
Walk from the farm to the village through Beech Copse, visit the Model Village in Godshill and then spoil yourself with a cream tea.

The Botanic gardens in Ventnor is a place where the pleasure of plants can be enjoyed to the fullest and where people of all ages can learn more about the wonderful world of plants and the inextricable link that we have with them.
Feel the sand between your toes and the gentle sea breeze on the superb sandy beaches such as Compton Bay on the south coast or in the resorts of Shanklin, Sandown or Ventnor.
Help the local economy and treat yourself to some local produce at the thriving Farmers’ market held in Newport every Friday morning and Ryde every Saturday morning.
Godshill Organics is an award winning farm shop on the Newport Road where they sell a wide range of organic and local foods together with vegetables grown on the premises.
