This detached 2 bedroom cottage is a secluded, luxury retreat situated on an organic working farm quarter of a mile from the public road. Absence of light pollution ensures clear starlit skies. The gently undulating farmland is crossed by footpaths which lead down to the village and up to the downs. We have a lake stocked with roach and carp for the exclusive use of our guests. There is a fish restaurant 10 minutes walk away in the village together with two pubs and a variety of small shops.

The house is furnished traditionally and has central heating. Four adults can be accommodated in two double upstairs bedrooms one of which can be a twin or double as required. For guests with mobility problems a bed can be provided on the ground floor with sufficient notice. There is a bathroom upstairs with bath and downstairs a shower room, basin & wc. The fitted kitchen is fully equipped with utensils, an electric cooker, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher and washer drier. There is a comfortable lounge and separate dining room together with a south facing conservatory. French windows open into the garden where there is seating for al fresco dining. Facilities include dvd player and tv.

The cottage will appeal to those wanting peace & tranquillity in a luxurious environment.

Breakfast can be taken in the farmhouse by arrangement if wished. Tea, coffee and cake or biscuits are provided for your arrival.

Changeover day is Friday. Cottage must be vacated by 10am on day of departure. Bed linen is provided and beds are made up. Bath towels can be supplied for a charge of £2 per towel per week.

Prices stated are per week. Shorter stays are possible in the winter months.

Terms & Conditions: A deposit of 100.00 GB Pounds per week is payable at the time booking, with the balance due eight weeks before arrival. A booking once accepted is a legal commitment and guests will be liable for the whole amount of the booking in the event of a cancellation where it proves not possible to re-let the cottage. In order to cover this it is recommended that guests should consider taking out travel insurance. The cottage is non smoking. A good housekeeping security deposit of £100 refundable on day of departure is also requested.
