Delightful detached cottage in the heart of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, close to the picturesque village of Godshill on an organic farm bordering Appuldurcombe estate. 5 minute drive from Shanklin's sandy beaches.
Excellent location for walking, coarse angling, cycling, horse riding and golf.
The cottage looks out across the orchard to the nearby millpond, which has an abundance of waterfowl, beyond are the downs. Godshill church can also be seen in the opposite direction.
The accommodation is comfortable and well equipped, it has central heating, free provision of linen and children are welcome. The sitting room has a large bay window and colour television/DVD recorder. There is a dining area and fully fitted modern kitchen with an electric cooker and hob, microwave, refrigerator and washing machine. The modern bathroom has a bath with shower over. Upstairs bedrooms comprise one twin and one double.
Breakfast can be taken in the Great Hall of the farmhouse by arrangement if wished. Tea, coffee and cake or biscuits are provided for your arrival.
Changeover day is Friday. Cottage must be vacated by 10am on day of departure. Bed linen is provided and beds are made up. Bath towels can be supplied for a charge of £2 per towel per week.

A deposit of 100.00 GB Pounds per week is payable at the time booking, with the balance due eight weeks before arrival. A booking once accepted is a legal commitment and guests will be liable for the whole amount of the booking in the event of a cancellation where it proves not possible to re-let the cottage. In order to cover this it is recommended that guests should consider taking out travel insurance. The cottage is non smoking. A good housekeeping security deposit of £100 refundable on day of departure is also requested. |
